absolutely not. physical attraction of course is important but it fades and if theres not emotional attraction then the relationship is pointless and you will get sick of each other very quickly.

I was having this discussion with a friend not long ago and he said that he wouldn’t go out with a girl who was ‘frigid’ because then theres nothing that separates his romantic relationship with her from his platonic relationships with his friends.

My response was that there are ways to be intimate other than sex for example what separates the relationship from friends is the way you sit on the couch together, are you entwined in each other? Is your head on his shoulder? You know, the little things. And if you are truly in love with someone, these are the most important things because sex shouldnt drive your relationship it should be the little things that make you happy to spend time with them.
